1-on-1 coaching that helps animation and digital art graduates turn real skill into a focused portfolio, a real network, and a clear path to studio or freelance work.
Sound familiar?
You keep adding work and applying everywhere, but the people who make hiring decisions still can’t see where you fit, if they even see you at all.
Every month you give the the same reel, get the same silence, and one more tool you’re told to learn.
I’m Alexander Santiago, a university professor and 3D artist.
For 10+ years, I’ve taught 3D animation and modeling at the university level. Now I coach animators and digital artists on their portfolios and careers.
I help you choose a direction, build proof, and share your work with the right people. I’ve spent a lot of time looking closely at how artists make and present their work. Here’s what I see over and over.
Talented artists ask, “Do I need to get better at everything?”
Most of the time, the real question is smaller: “What does this piece need to show for this opportunity?” or “How do I get the right people to see my work?”
That’s where I come in. We look at the work you already have. We pick one role or one service to aim at. Then we decide what to keep, cut, fix, and build.
You get a custom plan that doesn’t change every time you spot a new job post or a shiny tutorial.
Here’s my promise. You’ll know what we’re making, why it matters, and what feedback you’ll get. And if I’m not the right fit for your goals or your budget, I’ll tell you. I’d rather be honest than sell you more uncertainty.
Professor + Animation and Digital Art Career Coach
“I often came in stressed and unsure how my work would be received. Alex helped me see exactly what was working, what needed improvement, and what to do next. His feedback was kind and constructive without sugarcoating anything. I always left with more clarity, confidence, and momentum than I had when I arrived.”
“Rather than just explaining what was wrong, Alex would explain how to fix whatever the problem was and would quickly demonstrate it. His feedback gave me clear, practical next steps I could apply to future projects. He helped me recognize what was working and I would leave [a session] feeling more confident about moving forward.”
“The dedication and commitment Alex expresses towards his students served as a leading factor to my learning. Alex was an excellent role model showing empathy and patience for his students while holding them accountable and showing them how to be self-disciplined. I knew he worked hard to help me succeed, and so I wanted to work hard as well.”
“Alex didn’t just teach me software. He structured the work around what it takes to operate as a successful professional”
